S U M M A R Y I've screamed so loudly at this man that I'm surprised I can still talk. I've laughed so hard with him that it's a wonder I don't have a permanent stitch in my side. I've cried so hard over him that I'm shocked I can spare tears for anything else. I've loved him so desperately that I'm amazed I've ever let him go.

S U M M A R Y To say Remus Lupin is one of my best mates would sound trite after all we've been through. We're comrades, brothers, soldiers in arms. He's always had a habit of seeing the worst in himself but I've only ever seen the very best of him. Things between us, all of us, have gotten tense over the past few years, the past year in particular. Accusations have been made that haven't severed our friendships, but I'd be lying if I said things were the way they've always been between us. I can only hope that things will be better now that the war is over - if it is over.

S U M M A R Y War has brought out different sides of us all. I've never been very forgiving, but of my best friends... I suppose I was only half wrong. One of my best friends had sold himself out to the Death Eaters, but it wasn't Remus. I act like there's only so much regret I can feel considering it could have just as easily been Remus, but it hurts. I've made him the victim of my own worst thoughts, and that's something I don't wish on my friends. I can only hope than now this is all over that this detachment we've all experienced from each other will also, finally, be over. I miss my friend.

S U M M A R Y The only times I had interacted with Remus at Hogwarts was in class and on Prefect Patrols. He is very nice for the few times we interact. I haven't heard too much of what happened to him during the war, but I assume he participated. That group of Gryffindors always seemed like they would never back down from a challenge like that, especially if it meant protecting the ones they loved. All boys deep down want to be a hero, I think. Remus strikes me as one of those high moral types. I wonder what he is doing now...

S U M M A R Y Remus is a good guy and someone I got to know when we were both Prefects at Hogwarts and then again more so while both in The Order. He's one of the many friends I've gained through it, though he is more of a friend of a friend as he's closer to that of Melissa, James and Lily.

S U M M A R Y Remus is a great friend of mine and has been for years now. I hope he knows that and that I'll always be around if he ever needs me. He's a lovely guy, one of the good guys. Makes me wonder how he ended up friends with the likes of James and Sirius, kidding. Their good too, just... not in the same way.

S U M M A R Y Remus was always a bit cranky if I properly recall. I'm really not one to judge as I've never been a morning person, but while I thought he was rather sweet, he always did remind me of a grumpy old man. He covered me with a blanket once when I fell asleep in one of the armchairs in the common room. That was certainly nice of him. I've always wanted to return the favor but I've never caught him asleep in the common room or anywhere else, and I'm sure he tired of me staring at him curiously when he starts yawning.

S U M M A R Y Remus and I were in the same year at Hogwarts and spent a moderate amount of time together as prefects. I was inclined to dislike him at first - call me a snob but I don't tend to like most Gryffindors, and he ran with the most obnoxious pack of them at Hogwarts. I was surprised to find him thoughtful and kind during our patrols; once on an unseasonably chilly spring day, he lent me his cloak as I wasn't adequately prepared for the weather. I don't know much about what's happened to him since graduation, but I hope he's doing well.

S U M M A R Y Remus is a good bloke, more or less. I don't know, Stuart didn't like him because he has this off and on relationship with his sister, and Deirdre has intimated that she thinks he's a wretched human being, but he's never seemed as cruel or as heartless as she paints him to be. Perhaps I'm naive to assume he's misunderstood, but in my experience, girls tend to demonize the ex-boyfriend. Girls are very protective.
