MYA says: I first met Alice all the way back in our first year at Hogwarts, we ended up being in the same house together. Just like with all the girls in my dorm room, I got along with Alice straight away even if we are opposites in ways. I'm glad to say we got even closer during our years at school and am happy to call her one of my best friends. A title that still stands strong today and will hopefully be there forever.
Though we come from different backgrounds, it has never stopped us getting along and we have even learned a few things because of it. We spent a lot of time together in school and still try to set aside time to hang out today. Not always easy with us both having busy jobs and Alice a little boy to look after who is just gorgeous.

DANIEL says: I always knew of Alice back at Hogwarts due to being in the same year as one another. I have always liked to call her Ally Cat due to her house and name but I didn't get to know Alice better until I started dating Melissa. Alice is a great person, easy to get along with and someone who I've come to call a close friend of mine. Luckily the feelings mutual, would be bad if she didn't get along with me what with being married to one of her best and closest friends.

SIRIUS says: Alice has always been a good friend. We've never been particularly close, but all the Gryffindors in my year share a strange bond that cannot be shaken. Ali's always been one of those rock solid, dependable types and she's put up with me far more often than she ought to have. She and the girls seemed to have started some sort of pregnancy pact a few years back, something that's a touch too sister wives for my taste. Neville's a good kid, though, and I hate that he's going to grow up without his father. Frank was a good man, but Alice is going to be one hell of a mum. And I know none of us are going to let her go through this alone.

MARLENE says: Alice and I were close in school, and we did our best to remain close afterwards despite her rigorous training, marriage, and my diving headfirst into my job at The Daily Prophet. Joining the Order brought us closer, but not in the way we wanted. We would all try to stay for dinner after meetings, but we were all so busy, and Alice was one of the trio of girls making babies last year. I was devastated when Frank was killed, not just because I loved him and will miss him dearly, but because I hated to hear something so terrible happening to Alice and her poor son. She's lucky to have her and Frank's family there for support, and she knows that I will always be there if ever she needs me.

YOU says: I'm pretty sure that it is impossible to hate Alice - not that I ever tried. We have known each other since first year at Hogwarts and have shared so many things in our dorm room. We have seen each other grow up while stressing out about everything at Hogwarts (mainly classes and boys). Now the stress has spread to the war and babies. I have no idea how Alice does it without Frank, but if ever she needs or wants anything, she knows that Dan and I are here for her. After all, we owe her so much since her seventeenth birthday party was our first date. If you ask, she will also tell you how she helped me figure out what to wear for later dates. She is such a great person and deserves so much more than the world has given her so far.

JULIA says: I know it's wrong to think some people deserve to suffer than others, but I can't think of anyone who deserved to suffer less during the war than Alice Longbottom. She is the dearest, bravest, most wonderful girl and I will always be there for her if she needs me. She has a lot of good friends, though, so I don't worry that she'll ever be alone.

REMUS says: I knew Alice, through our house and patrols. She has a generosity and ferocity that I benefited from more than once at school and countless times during the war, though I can't say I've seen her much recently. I wish I had, but I've not and I regret it even more now that Frank's passed. The Longbottoms are people you might know that you do not spend enough time with, but have the distinct feeling that you would have been better person if you had. Maybe now that it is all over I can be a better person and I hope Alice will know I'll do my best to be around whenever she asks.

ALESSA says: Alice is someone I know through work, though I do remember her being a Prefect and Gryffindor in the year above me in Hogwarts but we never talked. I probably only remembering her from school because she was a Prefect to be honest. She will soon be a work colleague of mine when I graduate in a few months time so hope we can get along well enough for there not to be any problems. The very little I have talked with her we get on fine so far which is good. I try not to bring up anything to do with Frank her late husband or anything too personal. I use to hate strangers saying sorry for your loss after my mother and sister were killed, close friends and family are fine but strangers are another matter. I'm sure she doesn't need reminding of what she has lost.

LILY says: I can't think of one negative thing to say about Alice. I've never been able to. We grew up in Gryffindor together, balanced between separate years and similar circles, but I think we grew closest through the war. So many people were driven apart, but nothing draws people together more than fighting while pregnant. I swore our children were destined to be the greatest friends, but after James and I went into hiding, I lost much of my contact with Alice. If our letters ever lapsed, I demanded photos of Neville and tea, but the last year of the war was impossibly difficult. Alice, sadly, knows the brunt of that pain. I hope she knows I would do anything for her and she would only have to think about writing me before I popped around, but I've not actually managed to figure out how to do the last part.
