Being a muggleborn Dorrien finds wizarding clothing silly and rather uncomfortable so avoids having to where it when he doesn't have to. The only time he really wears any wizarding clothing is when he is in class wearing his school robes or when he is playing quidditch in his teams colours. He much prefer to wear sporty muggle clothes and jeans and a nice t-shirt. His clothing style also shows that he isn't afraid to show off what he has got which is also often proven as events such as Halloween.
Etc.:
Dorrien has always been one to make the ladies swoon some how skipping the awkward goofy stage that teenage boys seemed to go through. Having wanted to be a quidditch player after graduating he has a athletic physique which he maintained even though he is a writer now. He also has a good height to him which was one of the reasons why he was suited to playing the position of keeper.

Erised:
To be a keeper on a professional quidditch team
Dementor:
When he was little he was accidentally left in the wood after a camping trip with his family. It took them a while to figure out he wasn't with them and by the time they found it it was starting to get dark. Dorrien had been sat on a little stump for hours wondering why they had left him. It is because of this that he hates being on his own and always like to be in somebodies company.

Sports, girls, complany, flying around, dueling, hanging with the guys, parties, fresh cooked food, being active, writing, pubs.
Dislikes:
Being on his own, early mornings after late nights, boring/lazy people, being ignored, not being able to play quidditch as much as he would like, wine tasting.
Basic Personality:
Dorrien is your typical sporty guy who is always up for a laugh or a mess around with his friends. He loves to go to parties and doesn't mind being the center of attention. He doesn't like to be left alone and so if one person leaves him he'll go find somebody else that he can talk to just so he has some company other than his own. To some people he might be a bit vain but he just likes to look good and half of them time he is just messing around with people to have a little laugh. Though all joking aside he is serious when it comes down to his work as he never hands in a piece later than the deadline he is given despite his laid back approach.
BIOGRAPHY
Dorrien was born to two middle class muggles. He was their first born child and so was spoiled a little getting quite a few things that he wanted when he wanted them. Though his parents didn't try and spoil him too much not wanting him to become dependent on money and wealth all the time. Though two year past and his parents has a second child, this time it was a girl who they named Poppy. When Poppy was born a lot of his mothers time was now taken up caring for the new baby in the house so he would often spend a lot of time with his father when he was at home. He would take him into the back garden and teach him various sports. So from a young age Dorrien had a love for all sports and it turns out a natural talent for them too.
Through this time he developed quite a strong bond with his father and loved to do things with him and even let him dress him in an awful little tuxedo when Dorrien's Aunt was getting married as he would look just like his father. Though when his little sister was older he did being to play with her. When he was old enough for school he was sent to an all boys private school. So he spent his days their and his evenings at home with his family. He made friends very easily as he was little social butterfly. His sports skills also made him quite popular and ensured he was never picked last for a team. In fact he was often on of the boys picking out the team.
Though the summer before he was due to go to a high school which was this time a private boarding school he received a letter. A letter that changed his life. It was a letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy. At first his parents taught it was just a prank but when a ministry official turned up on their doorstep they soon changed their minds. Before Dorrien knew it he was being introduce to a new and magical world of wizardry aboard the Hogwarts express instead going off to boarding school with his friends. When they had asked why he wasn't going to the same boarding school he had just told them that he was going to one in Scotland instead. Technically he wasn't lying to them.
He was sorted into Ravenclaw in the sorting ceremony and as soon as the feast began he start making new friends who could help him navigate this new and exciting world. When he found out about quidditch he instantly became obsessed with the sport and even tried out in his first year despite not knowing much about the sport at all. He didn't get the team till his forth year but it never stopped him from trying out every year. When it comes to his love life Dorrien has had his far share of women as he has never been afraid to go over to a girl and ask her out or flirt with her if he has any interest in her so he used to rejection and now handles it rather well after been turned down by different girls. But it still stings a little initially when somebody says no.
After his O.W.L's which he did surprising well on he continued onto his N.E.W.T's and began trying to decided what he wanted to do after he flew the nest of Hogwarts and was released into the open world. But still after a whole year of thinking about it he still hasn't figured out what he is going to do with himself after school. But he isn't all that worried as he figures he'll know what to do when graduating comes around. It was during Dorrien seventh year he had his first serious relationship or so he thought it was. She was a sixth year who apparently had been crushing on Dorrien for a while. One of her friends told him about this so he decided to make he dreams come true and asked her to the new years eve ball. It was there they connected and afterwards started they started to date.
While after Easter though things started to go down hill as Dorrien had to study hard for his N.E.W.T's and she felt like she was being left out. Dorrien tried to spend as much time as he could but it was hard to do so between his studies, classes and quidditch practice. Though somehow they managed to stay together until after he graduated Hogwarts. Thankfully Dorrien decided that he would like to pursue a career in quidditch so he tried out for various teams but it was harder for him to get in anywhere being a keeper as they only need one reserves and there wasn't many teams in need of one.
Unfortunately Dorrien didn't make the cut and when he told his girlfriend she broke up with him since she had wanted to be dating a professional quidditch player. After a month of looking for another job that he would actually enjoy doing Dorrien stumbled upon an opening for an internship in the sports department of the daily prophet. He applied for the internship and was successful this time and so began Dorrien's writing career. When his internship ended the next spring Dorrien was offered a place upon the sports panel of the Daily Prophet which was a job he happily accepted as he loved writing and he loved sports so it was a brilliant opportunity for him. It also meant that he couldn't be used as a coffee lacky anymore as that would be handed down to the next intern that they would take on after him.
It was at the Prophet that Dorrien had his second serious relationship which the woman who wrote the advice column. There relationship only lasted nine months but they ended on good terms so have only slight awkward moments between them at the coffee machine. Since then Dorrien has had a couple of flings but never anything serious as he is trying to find that one girl who will change his life. Though his work at the Prophet is going well as he frequently gets free tickets to quidditch games which is just one of the perks of his job that he loves. He also get to guest contaminate on a match occasionally which he enjoys as sometimes some of the people playing on the pitch are people he knew while at Hogwarts.
Though when the attacks by the death eaters started to come about Dorrien was sadden as they where people he knew and had even helped him navigate the wizarding world in his first year of Hogwarts when he was just that lost little muggleborn. One of the hardest for him to swallow was the death of one of his housemates Benjy Fenwick. He had been good friends with Benjy and couldn't believe that he was gone. And the names just kept coming and Dorrien knew that he himself might be a target as some of the attacks where carried out on people just because they where muggleborns like himself. But he tries not to think of it despite that he works for the paper that likes to keep reminding people of all these terrible things. Though it's not always easy carrying on with your life as normal when your friends from school keep appearing in the obituary pages of the prophet.
