Red, slight messy on top though his hair gets bigger the more frustrated he is.
Eyes:
Green
Height:
5' 11" (1.80 m)
Style:
While Oliver is capable of dressing himself, he doesn’t appear to. His Healer’s robes are often wrinkled or disheveled – actually, this could apply to all of his clothes. He is always clean, which his mother and sister take as a big win for their cause, but he just doesnt look after his clothes by folding them or putting them away.
Etc.:
Oliver often appears as if he's just stumbled from bed. His clothes are wrinkled, his hair is a mess, and his eyes are slightly sunken to give him permanent bags. There is nothing outwardly impressive about him: he is of average height and build, not ruggedly handsome but not ugly. Most people that never speak to Oliver might not remember him or get confused for someone else because he has "one of those faces".

Seeing Susan grow up happy, despite what she lost at such a young age.

Likes:
Butterbeer, Quidditch, Wizard’s Chess, Exploding Snap, chocolate frogs, flying, treacle tart, rock music, spending time with Susan, singing a song with Susan, or having one of their ‘dates’, reading
Dislikes:
cold toes, too much perfume or makeup, when Susan is sick, people that pretend to know everything, cats, a badly kept chart on a patient, culturally different foods
Basic Personality:
Oliver is a laid back guy when it comes to people; very little ruffles his feathers and he’s more likely to make a joke about having feathers than get mad. The only time he seems particularly focused is at work. Even though working at St. Mungo’s means a lot of long hours with upsetting cases to care for, Oliver loves his job. He’s been known to sit with a patient after his shift ends, talking with them and trying to ease the discomfort at being in the hospital the best he can.
He is intensely loyal and will support those he loves through whatever they do. Oliver is good at understanding what people need, a quiet observer with a friendly smile and the occasional opinion or advice.

Biography:
Oliver is the middle child of Michael and Rosamund Bones. With a year separating them, he was always closer to his youngest sister, Amelia, but the Bones were always a tight-knit family. His childhood was happy with enough spoiling to never leave him wanting for a moment.
Coming from a long line of Hufflepuffs, Oliver did not disappoint his family upon his entrance to Hogwarts in 1970. He made decent if not excellent grades and didn’t leave much of a disciplinary record behind him, though his near constant flirting with Professor McGonagall should have landed him in a lot more trouble.
One of his best mates and roommate, Christopher Moffett-Smith, grew up along with him and they eventually entered the Healer Training program together, loudly lamenting never being free of the other and spending most of their lunches together. Nearly all of his relationships from Hogwarts lasted outside of the castle walls, including his relationship with Lucy Richards, a former Ravenclaw and his future wife.
They started dating their fourth year, never anything serious, but nothing casual. Communication died between them every summer and winter holiday and they always came back together at Hogwarts. Oliver loved her, but their relationship never resembled anything deep or meaningful. He had better conversations with his mates or to himself in the locker rooms after a game than with Lucy, but it seemed like too much hassle to leave one another. They married shortly after the Battle of Hogsmeade in 1978, like many wizards and witches faced with how short life is.
Susan was born just a year later, but the problems between Oliver and Lucy had already begun. Oliver missed much of Lucy’s pregnancy because of his training at St. Mungo’s and she grew spiteful when she was once supportive. After Susan was born, the fights barely stopped. Oliver wanted to spend more time with his daughter and wife, but felt like he had no time to do so. He was exhausted, overworked, and unable to do all the things that could have saved his marriage.
In March 1981, Oliver returned to his home with the reluctance of a man expecting to be hanged. Lucy had often claimed that she would divorce him and take all of his rights to Susan from him. During his break that day, she proved how serious her threat had been and a lawyer he had never seen showed up at the hospital to serve him divorce papers. But their flat looked no different than it had ever looked, no packed bags or items missing from the bedroom. Susan was hysterical in her crib and there was no sign of Lucy, but there was no understanding what had happened or what was going to happen. After Susan calmed down, Oliver floo called Amelia and, in broken sentences, he explained what he knew of his day. Amelia told him to stay there and that she would be over immediately.
In less than an hour, Aurors were combing through his flat and he, Susan, and Amelia were headed to the Ministry. As the husband of a missing woman and in a less than happy marriage, Oliver was to be questioned and held and Susan stayed with Amelia. It was eventually determined that he had no part in his wife’s disappearance and was released, but the case was never closed. No body was ever found. Lucy was just gone and Oliver was left to raise Susan.
Oliver’s mother was quick to dismiss the horridness of Lucy and say she knew that Lucy was no good. His father said that there was no decent woman that would leave her daughter like that and something must have happened, that they should be worried and mourn their daughter-in-law. Edgar and his family offered their help, but Amelia moved in with them without any discussion. Susan was put into the day care at the Ministry and Oliver did his best to be around her as much as he could without toppling over from exhaustion. The set up worked better than it had ever worked with Lucy and Oliver started to feel like he had a grasp on his life again.
In early August of 1981, Oliver, Amelia, and Susan were running late for a family dinner. They couldn’t find one of Susan’s nice shoes and Amelia insisted that Susan had to change because none of her other shoes matched, which Susan echoed. By the time they made it to their parents’ home, it was obvious that something had happened. They found their father dead at the front door and Oliver sent Amelia away with Susan to get help. With his wand out, Oliver entered the house where he grew up and found the rest of his family: Edgar and his mother just inside the entrance, Edgar’s wife and his children huddled in a corner in the living room. They were all dead, their murderers long gone, but Oliver didn’t lower his wand until the Aurors came.
The past year has been difficult for Oliver, but the end of the war leaves him room to hope again. He doesn’t want Susan to ever feel the amount of loss she’s had to endure again and he is cautiously optimistic that she won’t.
