Anarchy in the UK (Relations)

We're two peas in a pod, two cherries on a stem (eww), two... I dunno, ridiculous sods who spend all their time together. I may be an only child, but thanks to Sirius Black, I know now what it's like to have a brother. Now I understand what all the whinging's about.

I never really knew Sirius in school, we were in different houses, though I had heard of him due to his pranking ways and on the Quidditch Pitch. Since dating Melissa I got to know the guy more over the years, even becoming what you could call friends I suppose. Though I don't think that happened until we were all in The Order and had to trust one another with our lives. Sirius is a good guy, most of the time.

There was not a soul at Hogwarts who did not know the name and face of Sirius Black. The guy was a legend among the legends at school. Just like a large number of the girls there, I was highly attracted to him. Who wasn't? He has the looks, the attitude, and the reputation that put him on the lips of most of the girls at school. Now these days, I see him at the Leakey Cauldron when I visit for lunch or after work. Of course I flirt, though sometimes that is just to get a free drink.

I used to like Sirius when we were kids. Sure he was a bit different, but it was easily overlooked until he was sorted into Gryffindor. Gryffindor?! What kind of Black is sorted into that house? The Blood Traitorous kind. Since then, and especially after he ran away from his family, our friendship has been severed. One day he will be taught that he can't get away with his choices and turn his back on our family. No one does that.

Whenever I see Sirius Black I'm transported to my first year at Hogwarts when I first saw this ridiculously good-looking boy in my year and I thought, "my god, who is that?" My jaw might have dropped a little bit. I've always had a crush on him, not a serious one (haha) but just look at him. I know I do.

All silliness aside, Sirius has become a good man. He seems the same as he always was with his teasing remarks and seemingly aimless flirtation with everyone around him, but I know the lengths he goes to in order to protect his friends and I respect him for it. I sometimes wish he and I were better friends since he's so close to people I'm friends with, but I suppose I can settle for a bit of banter at the bar and a hello whenever we pass each other in Diagon Alley or at a mutual friends' birthday party.

I remember when Sirius was just this scrawny little third year, pulling pranks in the Great Hall and grinning like an idiot, thinking he'd just done the cleverest thing in the world. I have to admit, I was pretty fond of him even then, the cheeky bastard. Of course, it wasn't until he'd really filled out that I took real notice. Hell, I think it might've been his hair I noticed first. He has some incredibly sexy hair.

I don't actually remember when our friendship started going down that road, but really, who can be surprised. As much of a twat as he can be, he's still incredibly good-looking. And fuck me if he's not great in bed.

Oh yeah, and he's a really great friend too, I suppose.
