mya SAYSI've known Marlene since our school days, even if we were in different houses. She's become a great friend of mine over the years and I always love it when we can get together along with the other girls from school for some girl time, think that time should come again soon. We're always tried there for one another when we need it, she can always make me laugh and cheer me up if I've had a bad day at work, of even week. I know we will continue to be friends for a long time. |

We were really good friends in school, even dated for the briefest amount of time fifth year, and have remained friends ever since. She's changed a lot since graduation - a lot of her smiles are sad now, but I don't worry about her as much as I do some people. Marlene's always taken pretty good care of herself. |

She and I have been friends since her fist year in Hufflepuff. we became fast friends early on. Basically she is strong and courageous, which I wish I could be, especially when around her. Meeting her for lunch and coffee or just randomly for different reasons make work so much more bearable at the Daily Prophet. I try my best to always take on her assignments over any other writer's work.
Basically there is never a dull moment when around her. |

I knew of Marlene from school but we didn't really talk much and whenever we did she seemed to like calling me Danno. Still haven't thought of a good enough nickname for her, sometimes I wonder if I ever will. I got to know her better through Melissa and then both being in The Order. Marlene's become a close friend of mine since then and is now the Godmother of one of my kids. I know she'll always be there for myself and my family and I'm always here if she ever needs anything herself. |

We never really hung out because we were both far too busy and hung out in different groups. She was one of my greatest adversaries on the Hogwarts Pitch. After we both graduated and joined the Order, there were a lot more opportunities to interact and work together. We became close friends very quickly. I love how forward she is and how much she refuses to put up with the bull shit of our world. Now I can't imagine not having her in my life as one of my closest friends. |

We had been in the library studying all day and something pulled us out of - I think it was Charms - and we ran outside with no wellies or umbrella. We jumped around in puddles and our hair had become weaponized every time we turned our head, but it is one of my favorite afternoons. Even though the librarian kicked us out of the library when we tried to return as water logged as we were and we spent the next week with horrid colds.
Marlene will always be that fifteen-year-old. We've all got a fair collection of scars and it's remained to be seen that we've grown up, but it's always a relief to know that there will always be those afternoons to revisit. |
