Eyes:

Height:
5'4"
Style:
Amelia suffers from the delusion that she has to be dressed like a man to be taken seriously at work (although considering how people behave, she might not be that delusional). She's often seen in trousers and simple blouses and her hair is usually tied back to give herself a more masculine appearance, although she has yet to be confused her for one of her brothers. Amy is not averse to wearing dresses or frilly tops during her off time, but she's usually too lazy to dress up and prefers t-shirts, woolly sweaters, and blue jeans in various states of wear.
Etc.:
Amelia Bones has a very youthful appearance, something she's sure she'll appreciate in twenty years, but currently feels to be a hindrance to her career ambitions. She has a large toothy smile and wide eyes that are keenly observant of all around her. Amy looks a lot like her mother, something she's never fully appreciated until she lost her recently.

For Oliver and Susan to be happy; to earn a spot in the Wizengamot; to play her part, however small, in bringing justice to the Wizarding world

Finding her parents, her brother Edgar, and his family murdered in her childhood home. She'll never forget the sight of her nephews and niece huddled together in a corner, knowing how frightened they must have been. Amy still has nightmares.

Any time Susan has ever kissed her or told her she loved her. Amelia is head over heels for her niece.

Dislikes:
Broken shoelaces, bias, hateful behavior, seafood (with the exception of shrimp), coffee, any thoughts revolving around the night her family were killed, threats of any kind, guilt trips, manipulative behavior, dishonesty, arrogance, any and all insects that bite
Basic Personality:
Amelia is a very no nonsense sort of person with a dry sense of humor and extremely loyal streak. She is incredibly fond of the people she's close to, and while she believes in nothing more than fairness and equality, she has been known to turn a blind eye to the faults and injustices of her friends and family. She does, however, call them out whenever she feels it is necessary and isn't squeamish when it comes to confrontations. Amelia has a very maternal nature and cannot stand to see people crying, but she's not the sort to smother them with hugs and soothing words. Instead she offers a cup of tea, a comforting touch, and a listening ear. Amy can be rather spiteful despite her best efforts to see things from other people's perspectives, but sometimes she has to be fair to herself and her own emotions rather than catering to everyone else's.

Biography:
Amelia is the youngest of three children born to Michael and Rosamund Bones of Stoke-on-Trent, England. As the younger sister to two older brothers, Amy quickly became obsessed with "fairness," and throughout her childhood she would shout "that's not fair!" and the slightest grievance. As she grew older, Amelia learned how to argue this point with her parents and brothers, and eventually everyone stopped arguing with her because she would always convince them she was right. There were times when she was definitely in the wrong, but she'd gotten so good at arguing her point that she'd do it just to see how far they'd believe her.
The Bones are a tight-knit family, but Amelia always felt closest to her older brother, Oliver, as there's barely a year's difference in their age. It was always him and her at home while Edgar was away at school, but eventually it was Ollie's turn to leave her behind. Amelia wrote him several letters a week despite how much she'd promised she wouldn't miss him when he was gone (they have a tendency to grow dramatic when arguing). Oliver always returned her letters, but not as often as they were received, opting to answer two or three at a time rather than use all of the parchment he needed for school on correspondence with his little sister.
When Amelia finally arrived at Hogwarts, she too was sorted into Hufflepuff, which was a family legacy save for Edgar's discrepant sorting into Ravenclaw. She followed Oliver around a lot at first as it was what she was used to doing, but Amy quickly found her own friends throughout the castle. She grew especially close to her roommates, notably Marlene McKinnon, a girl who seemed to be friends with everyone, even people Amy didn't particularly care for.
Like her brothers, Amelia was determined to join her house Quidditch team and eventually landed a spot as beater during her fifth year. She helped Hufflepuff win the house cup during her sixth year and make it to the finals during her seventh, something she will always be proud of even if she wasn't the best player on the team (not that she'd ever admit that aloud to anyone).
Amy and her family made it back to the castle during the Battle of Hogsmeade. She felt so guilty since they had all been there for her graduation, but they were all just so grateful that nothing had happened to her or her brothers that she couldn't feel too guilty for long. They were all safe. Later that year, Oliver married his schoolboy sweetheart Lucy, a girl that Amelia had never particularly liked or disliked. Amelia only once pointed out her concerns that Oliver was rushing into marriage like so many of her peers, but he seemed determined to marry the girl. In October of the next year, Lucy gave birth to a little girl named Susan. Amelia was extremely fond of her other niece and two nephews from Edgar, but due to her closeness with Oliver, her fondness for her new niece was almost unbearable. Edgar gave her the family name that Amelia carried as well, Susan, and that was all it took for her blatant favoritism to solidify.
Amy got a job as a legal assistant at the Ministry in the fall after graduation. She's always been very politically aware and she was one of the few people in her class to take let alone score an Outstanding on her History of Magic NEWT exam. She shared a flat with one of her roommates from school, but after receiving word from her brother that Lucy had gone missing, Amy became a permanent fixture at his house. She arrived shortly after receiving his owl along with Ministry investigators whom she had alerted of the strange disappearance. Lucy and Oliver had been having a lot of problems that didn't surprise Amelia when she heard of them. The news that she had disappeared shortly after serving Oliver divorce papers cast a lot of suspicion on him, but the investigation had no leads and Lucy has been presumed dead for nearly a year now.
Amelia officially moved into Oliver and Susan's house in Selsey in April of 1981. She signed some papers to become a legal guardian of Susan's and now takes her to the daycare at the Ministry every morning when she arrives at work. She feels a lot like a working mum, something she resents Lucy for despite how much she loves her niece and her brother.
They were late for a family dinner at her parents' house in Stoke-on-Trent in early August, the pair of them arguing and Susan fussing all evening, before they arrived to find the house full of corpses. Amelia immediately rushed Susan from the house, the two girls sobbing as the image of her little niece and nephews huddled in the corner burned into her brain.
Amelia has felt numb over the past month but has persevered, taking good care of herself and her brother and Susan despite how miserable she feels. She was amongst the several who celebrated at The Leaky Cauldron the night the news of You-Know-Who's defeat was announced but she still feels an aching sadness after having lost so much. Amy has always had a stiff upper lip and she soldiers on no matter which way the wind blows, but all she can hope for now are clear skies and a brighter tomorrow.
