Basic Personality:
      Izzy is affectionately known as the feisty or crazy Italian. She lives life in the moment and will deal with the consequences later. Full of energy she can never sit still for long unless she is reading. She enjoys playing mind games or anything intellectually challenging. She is curious to a fault and has a hard time backing away from a challenge or a dare.

Izzy has a strange way of showing that she cares. To outsiders, it looks as if she is physically and sometimes verbally abusive. She will do anything for those she cares about and hates seeing anyone upset. Merlin help whoever hurts one of her chick-a-dees. Izzy has a dark side that when released is hard to control. Only Carter. Mark and her father have the talent to calm her down without injury. Voldi himself would appreciate her preferred style of vengeance.

Corners are her worst enemy and she swears they are in league with gravity who still holds a grudge because she is constantly trying to break its rules. Her taste in music depends on her moods, and is very diverse. Her own musical talents involve the violin and classical piano. She can sing as well but will only does so when forced.


BIOGRAPHY

      Izzy comes from an old and powerful Italian family that could rival the Malfoys in notariety. However, the Ruzzo’s are a humble people who partake in most of the dirty work required to run their estates. Their doors are always open to those with good intensions. Everyone in the family is expected to pull their own weight on and off the fields and is expected to add something to the, for lack of better term, empire. The latest addition by her father was citrus grove. Their roots started when Alexander Ruzzo was the first to beat the ancient labyrinth creating a deep bond thicker than blood. It provided the first grapes that started the Ruzzo winery. Since then every Ruzzo is born with a connection to the maze. Every Ruzzo must complete the maze on their own to show their worthiness testing their strength, will, character, and soul. If they pass, it offers them protection and shares its wild magic with them.


     Izzy’s father met her mother catering for a fashion shoot. Natalia was one of Dulce’s favorite models and was already working on a line of her own. Even after being married for nearly 25 years they still act like newlyweds. Something Izzy does not quite understand. She doesn’t see how her father puts up with her mother cause she sure as hell can’t. It was part of the reason she chose Hogwarts instead of the Italian wizarding school, Lucciano. The other part being that her father was a Hogwarts alum. Izzy was the epitome of daddy’s little girl. Francesco always wanted a girl and claimed Izzy as his, even giving her his name. She wanted to be just like her father, much to the annoyance of her mother. Izzy did not behave like proper little girls should.


     The Ruzzo residence and vineyard brings visitors from all over the globe: muggle and magic alike. Some become such good friends they are considered family. Izzy and her older brother Nico became partners in crime and would often sneak out to try to escape the parentals’ strict rules. She carried on these skills to Hogwarts where she and a group of friends were notorious for sneaking around after hours.


      Izzy preferred not to get into relationships and had earned the reputation as being unattainable. She enjoyed life too much to be tied down. She dated every now and then, but mostly it was just to have fun. She was not looking for romantic attachments. Forced to grow up in the world of high fashion Izzy did not like other girls’ catty attitudes and the boy’s inflated superficial ego’s. She would often escape to hang out with her brother and his friends including one Carter Gordon. Though she was a few years younger than them, they did not mind her company and would often include her in their activities. She was actually a key feature in their little group helping them get a girl’s attention or charming their way out of trouble. They were the ones who taught Izzy how to use her looks to her advantage. She supposed it was because of this that Izzy was more comfortable hanging out and playing with men rather than dating them. Hogwarts was really the first time she had real girlfriends.


      Most people assume that helps run her family’s company. They would not be wrong, but they would not be completely right. She and her sister run the business together allowing them to still have the freedom to do as they please. Izzy had always been talented at transfiguration. With her skills she created an entirely separate and secret life when she agreed to join the Order. She became Calla White to protect her family. Only a select few know of her second identity. When she’s not in Italy, she is in England with her friends. She has her own flat and her own small business there all owned and operated by her alter self.
