Life is a Highway [Relations]

There are few people that Eric Dalton actually calls "friend" in his circles. The truth? He's just too damn lazy to be bothered with them half the time. His guitar, cigarettes, music magazines, food and sleep encompass a good chunk of his thought process. However, Eric gets bored easily so it usually takes something very active, productive, or musical to get his attention. For the few friends that he does have, he is loyal to them and entreats them to something other than the lethargic and seemingly forced smiles that he gives everyone else.

You can't please everybody. And you shouldn't have to. This is Eric's belief and he'll be damned if he's gonna go around kissing someone's ass. While he's generally lazy and "can't be arsed" to deal with things, if someone goes around bullying other people in front of him, it's something he generally will not tolerate. Period. Because of this, he's made a fair share of the "dislike lists" in social circles and the entertainment industry. Not that he actually gives a shit. A side note? He's a bit competitive when it comes to sports.

Eric is no virgin and finds both men and women appealing in their own right. Aloof and charming when he gets up enough drive to get off his ass to do so, he's actually surprisingly good with words and interacting with both sexes. It's usually because he has an agenda, in which case, watch yourself. He devours "lovers" and "bed playmates" as if they were candy. He hasn't had a seriously committed relationship in the past year and feels either it would take too much time away from his music practice or interfere with his nap schedule (yes, and it's strict, too). That and no one has really sparked his curiosity enough to keep him interested. Eric isn't looking and if he is, prepare to be eaten alive.

Hard work and dedication pay off. At least that's how the saying goes. It's a miracle that Eric kept his grades up as high as he did, his head of house calling him in for "long-winded chats" on more than one occasion about his future. Eric knew he wanted to go down the path of music professionally. He just needed to get that one gig, that one tiny toe in the door, and he and his band were set and have continued to be successful. Eric respects people who strive to achieve their dreams and are willing to stick by them no matter what. He also admires fellow musicians of any genre of music (some more so than others, but still) as well as avid fans of music in general.
