POLAR OPPOSITES ~ Going to school isn't my fondest desire Daniel Thinks: Though Mya was in my year at Hogwarts, I really didn't get to know her until I started dating Melissa. Since then she has become a friend of mine too and I will be forever in her debt for the time she healed me during the first war due to Bellatrix cursing me with something quiet nasty. Because of her I'm here today with my family still and had more children with Melissa. I've always liked Mya, she's a lovely person, very kind, understanding and giving. She is always up to babysit my children when they come too much for myself and Melissa and if she ever finds someone to settle down with, having kids of her own. I know Mel and myself would return the favour.
Mya Thinks: I always knew of Daniel back in Hogwarts but never got to know him until he started to date Melissa. Now they are married with three lovely kids! He is a great guy, perfect for Mel and am so happy for them. I have become protective of him, knowing it would just kill Mel if anything happened to him, anyone could see that during the first war when he got in a bad way due to Bellatrix. Though we don't have a lot in common, I have always got along with Daniel and the little we do have in common keeps us talking, which is saying a lot due to him being very quiet at times.

WIFE ~ It was the Beach Boys rockin' huh huh the "Wipeout" Daniel Thinks: I first met Melissa probably back in our third year at Hogwarts and we ended up having a argument about Quidditch, I did know of her before then with her being in the same year and all but we never talked until then with us being in different houses. I got to know her more over the years and we had became friends until our sixth year when we started to become closer. I have always wanted what my parents have, knowing it would probably be after Hogwarts that I would find such a thing. Surprised to find that not only before I graduated but in someone who had been under my nose the whole time. After getting together we spent as much together as we could with each other, times have been tough with the war, I can't live without her, it hurts just thinking about it. I'm the luckiest guy for having her, Mel saying yes when I proposed, us getting married and then giving me three lovely kids with another on the way.
Melissa Thinks: There's not much to say about Dan. He's just there.
I'm completely kidding. Dan is my everything. He stole my heart while we were still in school. Though there are times when he annoys me, especially when we were at Hogwarts together, he always remains good to me. I never expected him of all guys to steal my heart, but I never once regretted that happening. He's become one of my best friends and is now the father of our three lovely babies. I knew of Marlene from school but we didn't really talk much and whenever we did she seemed to like calling me Danno. Still haven't thought of a good enough nickname for her, sometimes I wonder if I ever will. I got to know her better through Melissa and then both being in The Order. Marlene's become a close friend of mine since then and is now the Godmother of one of my kids. I know she'll always be there for myself and my family and I'm always here if she ever needs anything herself.
Marlene thinks: Daniel and I were never really close in school, but our bond strengthened afterward graduation when we both joined the Order and I grew closer to him and Melissa. They were the first to start having babies in our little group, and I am honored to be the godmother of their young daughter, Lauren. Dan's a good man and a great father, and a really good friend. We don't share our deepest, darkest secrets with each other but we'll always have each other's backs.

MIXED FEELINGS ~ Can't find nothin' I can put my heart and soul into Daniel Thinks: I didn't really get to know James more until our last year at Hogwarts, with him being Head Boy and me Prefect. Before then it was just passing each other in corridors, playing against one another on the Quidditch pitch. I never disliked the guy, we just ran in different circles. Since school we have got to know one another a lot better, due to both being in the Order and also the fact our wives are best friends. I've come to think of James as one of my close friends, someone who understands what it's like being married with young kids. Unlike other friends, siblings/cousins who don't have much of a idea at all. I can see the Reynolds and Potters being friends for a long time.
James Thinks: Dan and I weren't good friends in school. I didn't hate him or anything, but we didn't really know each other outside of our Quidditch rivalry. I became more aware of him when I was named Head Boy and we had to spend time in meetings together. We've enjoyed a close bond after Hogwarts, not only because of the Order, but also because we both married and had kids within months of each other. Dan's a good guy to talk to about being married and having kids, something my best mates don't understand yet (if ever - just sayin', boys). Whenever Lily and Mel set up play dates (which currently includes the girls cuddling Lauren and Matt while Becky and Harry toddle after each other), Dan and I usually hang out in the kitchen and talk.

She's always been a great friend of mine and will continue being so. She's like the older sister I never had and so I found it funny when Mel was jealous of her when we first started dating. I'm not into blondes, that's always been my brother. I have to admit, I keep hoping that those two would get together so she would really become my sister. But Mark seems blind to the great blonde that is bouncing around in front of him.
Jenny Thinks: For as long as I have known Daniel, he has always been very sweet. Sometimes too sweet. When I'm in a playful mood, I try my best to make him laugh, squirm, and to get him into harmless trouble, much to the chagrin of his wife. I had heard once that little Melissa was jealous of me back at school when they were dating. As if? Right?
Seriously though, Daniel was one of the guys who showed up that night when I and several others were rescued from the Death Eaters. He risked his very life to save us all. I owe him so much and know that he will never want me to repay him. He's also aggravating like that.

I got to know her due to being in the same house at Hogwarts and both being Beaters on the Quidditch team. We were one hell of a team and force together. We've always been good friends, though she's closer to that of my brother and wife. She's a godmother to one of my kids, they'll probably call her 'Crazy Aunt Izzy' when older. I don't have a problem with that, actually... maybe I'll tell them to call her that.
Izzy Thinks: He’s one hell of a quidittch player. We both tried out for and got the beater positions at school. We made a good team until I was knocked out during a game against Slytherin. Mia madre banned me from playing since then. Dan was more of the good boy next door types. Nice looking but not my type. We were good friends though I was closer to his older brother Mark. His wife is one of my close friends. I was a bridesmaid in their wedding and am a godmother of one of their many children. Their relationship sometimes gives me cavities, but I can’t deny how perfect they are for each other. Between Mark and I, his children have wonderful influences for life.

I hate what she did to Melissa and if that wasn't bad enough, she almost killed me way before I'm ready to leave this world. I am no were near ready to die and be without Melissa and my children.
Bellatrix Thinks: Wee little Daniel and that annoying family of his...Blegh. I heard that they have all those crying kids now. The very thought of that gives me a headache. Both of them got away from me on two different occasions through extenuating circumstances, nothing more. They will meet their end soon enough - them and their precious little children too. Julia Thinks: For the longest time I referred to Dan as 'Mini-Mark' because they were near identical until puberty fully set in for them both. I pull the nickname out every now and then just to see Dan make that face like he's smelled a fart. I think he loves me somewhere, deep down. Just joking! Dan's a good lad and we get along pretty well but we really don't spend that much time together, so I could hate him for all I know! Not that I'd want to. He's got the cutest kids and he's been good to Meli, who's practically family.

Since then I've grown closer to her and come to call her one of my close friends. Her family is like family to mine, maybe it's because we're one of the few from the Class of 78' with our own families. Our kids play together, and one day go to Hogwarts together. For all we know might end up in the same house and best of friends. Anyway, back to the present. I'm so glad Lily and her family survived and are still with us, we have been through a lot. We've been there for one another and will continue doing so and continue being friends.
Lily Thinks: Dan is a good father and husband. He makes Mel happy and what else could I ask for? We've known each other for a long time and have gone through a lot, but it's nice to have someone like that around.

Liz Thinks: Dan's American, which means he doesn't know how to spell and the cold and rain affect him more than it does the rest of us. He's a good mate, though, one who always ends up the butt of a joke for some reason. I think it's because he hates it so much, it just eggs the rest of us on. I don't see him very much now that we're graduated, but I know he's doing well with Puddlemere and he and Mel have started their own litter of Reynoldses.

Sarah Jane Thinks: Dan was one of my best mates in school. We always felt comfortable just being around each other. We often spent our time lounging in the common room, studying quietly together or going for runs on the grounds when the weather was amenable. I'm really fond of him and his little family, and I cannot express how grateful and relieved I am that they haven't been directly touched by this war.
